Entry Process

August 30 update

Entry is closed.

Entrants in the 2018 event will get priority free entry. After that, entry is first-come, first-served, opening at 9 a.m., Wednesday, August 7. Entry is limited to 240 runners. If the race fills, we’ll have a wait list. The entry process closes at 9 p.m., Friday, August 30.

You must be at least 18 years old on race day to enter. There is one exception to this rule: If you will be at least 16 years old on the day of the race, you may enter if you are on a mother-daughter team. Your mother must co-sign your waiver with you at check-in.

How You Pay

If you were registered for the 2018 race, refer to our emailed instructions on getting in free. Everyone else will need either a credit card or an account with PayPal. All registration is online.

Transfers and Refunds

Entry is not transferable to other runners.

If you got a free spot in the 2019 race but can’t use it, we’re sorry that we’re unable to extend that freebie to future years.

If you pay for entry in 2019 and must withdraw from the race, there’s a small possibility you could get a refund. This would happen only if there’s a wait list and someone bumps up from that list to take your place on the entrants list. (This hasn’t happened for the past few years.) We keep $5 of any refund. No refunds after August 30.

(More information about refunds is on the withdrawal page).
