Megan Stegemiller first female at OD100

Megan Stegemiller finished the 35th Old Dominion 100 in 23:31, good enough for  first place female and the coveted sub-24 OD buckle. Keith Knipling also broke 24 hours to earn his second buckle in two weeks after finishing MMT. The big story of the day was the famous OD heat and humidity, which returned this year after a few years of pleasant temps, and in which only 45% of the starting field of 48 finished in under 28 hours. Wow!!

Congrats to ALL the finishers! I am so impressed by the fact that a female buckled for a 1st place female win for the first time in a couple years in THOSE conditions!! AND that Ryan Nebel and Keith Knipling both buckled 2 weeks after MMT! Such great runners!
