Ideas Wanted for New MMT Logo

We need a logo to use on the MMT web site, on shirts, awards, other items affiliated with the race, and possibly on a banner.  Historically our various logo designs have come from within the club.  Continuing with that tradition, we are seeking input from club members for a new MMT logo.

At this point, we are not looking for a finished design.We are seeking only a rough back-of-the-envelope sketch of your logo concept. One or two submitted concepts will be chosen, and we will then work with the designers of those concepts to come up with a finished logo for MMT.

Opening for Race Director for Women’s Half Marathon

The VHTRC is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Race Director (RD) of the Women’s Half Marathon (WHM).  The WHM is a unique showcase event with a rich history and unique traditions.  The selected candidate will preserve the character and special traditions of this event, and should be available to assume the role as RD immediately in order to prepare for the 2012 WHM, which will be held on September 8, 2012. A statement of duties, qualifications, and relevant experience for the RD position can be found below.

VHTRC Board - Hail and Farewell

We want to thank Quatro Hubbard and Paul Blackman for their service to the club as members of the VHTRC board.  Quatro served two terms on the board. He had several important roles, some of which he will continue, we hope.  Paul stepped forward to serve on the board when no one else would. He was very helpful in the board's work.  We know that Quatro and Paul will continue to serve the club. Thanks for all they have done.
